　　The Philippines

　　Well, speaking of a country, is the place I really want to go for a trip. Some people believe it's the real inspiration behind the Alex Garland's novel - The Beach (the author lived and travelled there)which I ever watched the same-name movie couple years ago and was enthralled by the sea views immediately. This archipelago（群岛） consisting of over 7,107 islands is well worth visiting.

　　As we all know, the Philippines are one of the most exotic and delightful tourist destinations in the entire Southeast Asian region. It is blessed with white-sand beaches, pale blue seas, amazing corals and fish, lagoons（环礁湖）, mountains, rivers, rice terraces（梯田） and volcanoes.The fine sand beaches that fringe the Pacific Ocean offer the ideal base for a relaxing holiday, perfect for lounging（闲逛）and taking in the delightful surroundings.

　　What's more, there are several major diving spots which are immensely popular and the country is one of the hot picks amongst adventure lovers/thrill seekers and adventure enthusiasts, who head to this wonderland to experience an adrenaline（肾上腺素）rush.

　　If I got a chance to visit there, I would take an island-hopping trip. But the island I'd like to disembark most is the Bohol Island which is the 10th largest island in the  Philippines and keeps the most pristine（纯朴的，原始状态的） tropical natural beauty, lending it truly/in essence great holiday potential for those who seek relaxation and lazing in the sun.

　　In the Bohol Island, the Chocolate Hills are perhaps the most sought-out（吃香的） attraction followed a close second by the island's surreally（超现实的） shaped caves and rock formations. You know, whatever your preference in attractions, Bohol's charm will not fail to seduce you. After the Chocolate Hills, the tarsiers（眼镜猴） inhabiting the island of Bohol will be my second destination. One of the smallest primates on Earth, no bigger than an adult man's hand, they face danger from the deforestation of their natural habitat. Since I saw their pics on the web for the first time, I just can't forget, and eager to see this tiny creature with my own eyes and observe the way they live.

　　Well, there are really lots and lots of things I'm keen on about the country. Just getting a glimpse（一睹） of the islands from the movie is not long enough. I hope I could have the opportunity to see exactly why locals have nicknamed their home, 'God's little paradise'.
